Hendrik Staels
Hendrik Staels and Vincent Galle were both working in the fashion industry. Early 2000, they both decided to make a career change.
They wanted to find a niche within the textile industry in which their company could take a leading role.
Soon after, Capstan Technicals was launched in the paint protection sector, first producing paint overalls, but quickly evolving into the production of the first robot covers.
Thanks to a comprehensive vertical integration (from fibre to cover) and outstanding in-house knowledge of textiles, the Capstan Technicals quickly became a European market leader in the production of paint robot protection.
A large proportion of European manufacturers and their Tier 1 suppliers have been among its customer base for years.
